Director’s Biography

Ms Naughty has been creating women’s erotica online since 2000. She is the owner of adult site BrightDesire which won Honored Website at the 2015 Feminist Porn Awards. She also co-owns ForTheGirls.com, one of the oldest erotic sites for women. She blogs at MsNaughty.com.

In 2008 she began creating short films, inspired by a visit to the Berlin Porn Film Festival. Her first adult short film, That’s What I Like won the 2009 Petra Joy Award for first time erotic filmmakers and was nominated for a Feminist Porn Award.Indigo Lush has since created over 65 erotic short films and scenes, all of which feature at Bright Desire.

Her short film Dear Jiz, about the influence of genderqueer adult performer Jiz Lee, won Best Experimental Short at the Cinekink NY film festival in 2014. She also received an Honorable Mention from Cinekink in 2015 for her film Tease. She co-won Best BDSM Scene at the Feminist Porn Awards in 2015 for Instructed. Her short Hand Jobs won Best Cinematography at East Bay Express Briefs in 2016. Her feature Connections: Real Couples, Joyful Sex received an Honorable Mention at the Feminist Porn Awards in 2013 and her mini doco Something Better: Performers Talk About Feminism And Porn won the same award in 2014.

Her short films have screened at several international film festivals including Cinekink New York, Pornotopia, Popporn Brazil and the Berlin Porn Film Festival.

Ms. Naughty also directed the erotic feature The Fantasy Project, which premiered at the Berlin Porn Film Festival in 2014.

She has chapters in The Feminist Porn Book (2013) and Coming Out Like A Porn Star (2015) and her fiction has been published in several editions of Best Women’s Erotica.In her past life Ms Naughty was a librarian and freelance journalist. She lives in a country town in Australia with her husband, Luke, surrounded by fundamentalist Christians.
